Innovation in HealthTech & Wellbeing Accelerator 2025

La French Tech Dublin, in partnership with Crédit Agricole Creditor Insurance (CACI), is excited to announce the launch of its inaugural Innovation in HealthTech and Wellbeing Accelerator.

This initiative has been developed in collaboration with Enterprise Ireland, The Digital Hub, the France Ireland Chamber of Commerce, and Business France, with CACI serving as the primary sponsor.

01

Why Health and Wellbeing?

Irish companies in the Health and Wellbeing sector have a unique opportunity to expand their horizons by applying for an initiative that could take them to France, one of Europe's leading hubs for health innovation.

With €7 billion dedicated to its Health Innovation Plan 2030, France is investing heavily in the future of healthcare, including €2 billion focused on biotherapy, digital health, and emerging infectious diseases. Furthermore, an additional €800 million is set aside for the bioproduction of innovative therapies, pivotal for advancing personalized medicine in fields like oncology, immunology, and rare diseases.

France's dynamic Sportech sector is another key area of innovation and growth, making the country an attractive destination for companies. The Sportech collective, which brings together over 150 innovative and high-impact companies in the sports industry, has seen significant success, generating nearly €1 billion in revenue in 2023. The sector’s growth is further underscored by a 25% increase in fundraising in 2023, a notable achievement, especially when compared to a global decline of over 75% in the same period.

This accelerator initiative presents an unparalleled chance for Irish companies to join a vibrant ecosystem, benefit from substantial support opportunities, and make a meaningful impact on global health and wellbeing.

This would represent a great learning experience for companies wishing to go international!
